HIPPA Compliance

XR COPY adheres to the mandated HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT (HIPAA), and XRC personnel have attended training regarding Medical Privacy, and strongly enforce the National Standards to Protect the Privacy of Personal Health Information.

At no time will any patient information be released during the management of patient records (x-rays). We will protect the confidentiality, and will not release protected health information.

Attorneys, or third party representation are required to obtain HIPAA compliant consent for records release. Patient Authorizations and subpoenas must be HIPAA compliant in order to release Protected Health Information (PHI).
